Yvonne Hegoburu is the proprietor of Domaine de Souch. Madame Hegoburu became the sole proprietor after her husband died in the late 1980s. She told me he died of cancer caused by working in vineyards that were treated with fertilizers and pesticides and other chemicals. She has since converted her domaine to a biodynamic practice.
